A move can be right and still leave you missing the route you used to know by heart.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Missing a place is not a verdict on the decision to leave it. What you lose in a move is partly practical and partly bodily: the walk you could do without thinking, the shop that knew your order, the shortcut in the rain. Those are small, and their absence is oddly large, because they were the part of life that required nothing from you.

Give the ache room without treating it as a mistake to be corrected. Walk one route in the new place often enough that it becomes automatic. Keep something small from the old routine, and let the new knowledge build at its own pace.
