A long break can make familiar work feel new without making you unqualified.

Time away from a kind of work rarely deletes what you knew, though it does make it feel unfamiliar for a while. The strangeness of the first weeks back is a symptom of rustiness rather than a verdict on your ability, and it lifts faster than anyone expects because the underlying knowledge is still there. Reading it as proof of being unqualified is the real risk.
Give yourself a fortnight before judging anything, and write the questions down instead of apologising for them. Ask a colleague what changed while you were gone. Being briefly slow at something familiar is not the same as being new to it.
