A balanced week does not require every day to carry the same weight.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Balance is often imagined as sameness, with an equal portion of work, rest and everything else poured into every day. Lives do not run that way. Some days are heavy by nature and others exist for recovering, and forcing them all into one shape means failing at each of them. The unit that can actually be balanced is the week rather than the morning.

Look at the days ahead and mark which are meant to be full and which are meant to be light. Protect the light ones instead of quietly filling them in.
