A tired household needs a simpler plan, not a louder demand for the original one.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
When a house is running on empty, the usual response is more insistence: reminders, frustration, another attempt at the schedule that was designed for a better week. Volume does not create capacity. What is failing is not everyone’s willingness but the size of the plan relative to what is left in the people expected to carry it.
Look at the week ahead and remove two things rather than reorganizing all of them. Say plainly which standards are being lowered for now and for how long. Tiredness passes more quickly when it is not also being argued about.
What would a simpler version of your evening plan be?
