Your intensity should scare the problem more than the people helping solve it.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Intensity aimed at a problem gathers people around it. Intensity that spills onto the people working with you scatters them, and you end up facing the problem alone with a reputation that makes help harder to get next time. The same drive can produce either outcome depending only on where it lands.

After the next pressured stretch, ask someone who was there how it felt to work alongside you. Take the answer without justification. If the intensity has been leaking onto people, the fix is usually specific and small rather than a change of temperament.
