A large portion of struggle in any field is unnecessary, made up of things that were figured out long ago by someone who never wrote them down. Every tool, clear explanation, or worked example you leave behind removes some of that waste for people you will never meet.

Think about the thing you found hardest to learn and whether it needed to be that hard. If it did not, write the explanation you wish you had found. It takes an afternoon and saves other people months.
