Getting through a hard day without lashing out at anyone is a quiet win. Count it.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Some days the whole achievement is that nobody else got hit by how you felt. Being short with people is the easiest release there is when you are tired and stretched thin, and not using it takes real effort. It never shows up anywhere, so it is easy to end the day feeling like you did nothing at all.

At the end of a rough day, name the moment you could have snapped and did not. Count it as work, because it was. If you are running out of that patience most days, that is worth telling someone rather than just squeezing harder.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Who did you not snap at yesterday?
