Your family’s stress can land on you without being your fault. Carry what’s yours, set down what isn’t.

RESILIENCE
Stress in a house spreads by proximity rather than by fault. You can end up holding a mood you did not create, managing tempers that are not about you, and arranging your week around something you had no part in. Seeing that it came from outside you is not blaming anyone, it is getting the shape right.
Try naming, for yourself, which parts of this week are actually your responsibility. Keep those and let the rest sit with whoever it belongs to, even while you can still feel it. If it is more than you can hold, one trusted adult outside the house is a reasonable place to start.
Which worry at home is not actually yours to hold?
