Ask an old friend how you’ve changed since you met. Their answer might surprise you in a good way.

CREATIVITY
You cannot see your own change, because you were there for all of it and the view never jumped. Somebody who has known you for years holds two snapshots and the gap between them, which makes them a better instrument than your own memory. Most people are surprised to hear they have grown in a direction they were not tracking.
Ask one person who has known you a long time, directly, without steering the answer. Let them finish before you argue with any of it. Write down the part you did not expect.
Which old friend would you trust to say how you’ve changed?
