A lot of friendships come from repetition, not instant chemistry. Keep showing up to the same places.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Friendship is mostly a byproduct of hours. The people who end up mattering are usually the ones you kept bumping into, on the same bus, at the same practice, in the same back corner of the library, until talking stopped requiring a reason. Instant chemistry is real but rare, and waiting for it makes you dismiss everyone who would have grown on you by October.

So choose a place and go back to it on a schedule. Same table at lunch, same open gym, same club on Thursdays. You do not have to be interesting on the first visit. You have to be there on the fourth.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Where could you keep turning up until faces become friends?
