The person who keeps the addresses often holds a family together without being called its leader.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

In most families there is one person who remembers the birthdays, keeps the contact details, and makes the calls that keep everyone in touch. They are rarely described as holding the family together, and the whole network usually thins noticeably when they stop.

Work out who that is in yours and thank them for it directly. Better still, take one part of it on. And if you are that person, it is reasonable to ask for help rather than waiting to be noticed, since the work is invisible precisely because you have always done it.
