A person can accept an ending without being ready to enjoy the space it leaves.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Accepting that something is over is one thing; wanting what comes next is another, and they rarely arrive together. People around you often collapse the two, offering the freedom before you have finished with the loss, as though clear space were automatically good news. It can simply be quiet, and unfamiliar, and shaped like the thing that used to be there.

Give yourself permission to hold both at once for a while. You are allowed to say that you know it was right and that you do not feel light about it yet. If someone hurries you toward the bright side, thank them and keep your own timing.
