A good move leaves room for a new life instead of filling every corner with the old one.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Moving is usually treated as a transfer problem, everything from there recreated here. What that produces is a smaller version of your old life installed in a new place, with no space left for whatever this one might have offered. Rooms fill quickly, and a house with every corner already spoken for has answered questions you had not asked yet.

As you unpack, leave at least one room and one shelf deliberately unfinished for a couple of months. Wait to see how you actually use the space before furnishing it. Let some of the old things stay boxed long enough to be missed.
