A quieter season can need structure without needing to resemble the job that ended.

CREATIVITY
After work stops, people often swing between two bad options. One is filling the day with imitation employment, complete with schedules and targets, and the other is having no shape at all and finding the week slides past without anything to hold. What was useful about the old structure was rhythm, not pressure, and rhythm can be built from much gentler material.
Give the week three or four fixed points and let the rest stay open. A regular swim, a standing coffee, an afternoon set aside for something you are learning. Nobody needs to be managing you for the days to have a recognisable shape.
What shape would your week take if nobody scheduled it for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
