Some opportunities only recognize people willing to introduce themselves first.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Many good things arrive through someone knowing you exist, and that usually depends on you having said so. Waiting to be noticed assumes an attention that is rarely there; people are occupied with their own concerns, and the person who introduced themselves is simply the one who came to mind.
This week, initiate one thing you would normally wait for. Send the message, ask for the meeting, say you would be interested. It will feel presumptuous and it almost never reads that way from the other side. Most of what you would call luck depends on this single unglamorous habit.
Who could you reach out to without an introduction?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
